DESCRIPTION:MOVIE NIGHT FOR ACTIVISTS \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for a free screening of the documentary “Lightworkers\,” a feature-length documentary that explores activism\, identity\, and civic responsibility through a series of interconnected interviews. Grounded in a socio-historic perspective\, the film examines how individuals understand their role in society and what it means to act in times of political and social uncertainty. Watch the
trailer here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDoors will open at 6:30 PM\, there will be brief introductory remarks at 6:45 PM\, and the film will run from 7:00-8:30 PM. We hope you’ll stay for a discussion of the feature and information about local opportunities for activism from 8:30 – 8:45 PM. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLexington Venue has graciously offered the use of the theater for the viewing of this documentary.
