DESCRIPTION:As the government shut down continues to devastate businesses and families\, Cape Ann Indivisible is sponsoring Neighborhood Standouts to highlight Washington’s disgraceful lack of action on the needs of local families facing food\, housing and health care insecurity. We’ll also be collecting donations to the Cape Ann Food Pantry! In addition to non-perishable food\, their needs include baby food/formula\, coffee/tea\, pancake mix/syrup\, cereal\, oatmeal\, granola bars\, 100% juice\, gluten free food\, and wet & dry pet food. \n\n\n\n\nNear the James\n\n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
