SUMMARY:Weekly Hook & Wave Standout Rally
DESCRIPTION:Tired of the news stories\, gracing your screen every day? Looking to encourage change\, express yourself\, make a difference but don’t know where to go? Join us at Salem’s Call’s Weekly Standout Rallies\, in the heart of downtown Salem each Saturday. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe gather at noontime in Riley Plaza\, to raise our signs and voices in opposition to the agenda coming out of Washington. Here you’ll find like minded folks with signs reading “Dump Trump”\, “End the I.C.E Age”\, “Protect Social Security”\, “Due Process is not Optional”\, and many more. Feel free to make a sign of your own and come on down – or use one of ours! Hope we see you next Saturday. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSalem’s Call is a pro-democracy progressive group in the Salem area. In addition to weekly rallies\, we host national rallies\, like the No Kings\, and Hands Off rallies\, and host other events and activities\, including those using creative resistance. Check us out at salemscall.com \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis a local Indivisible event! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP for Updates\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Indivisible and coalition partner events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
