SUMMARY:Longwood Medical Area Standout with RX for Democracy and Lady Liberty
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a standout with Newton Indivisible’s RX for Democracy and our Lady Liberty mob-sters. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDemocracy is on life support and we’ve got the cure. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvery day the Longwood Medical area has hundreds of medical personnel and the patients they serve walk by this corner. This action aims to reach the huge population of commuters from the greater Boston area to raise awareness of critical nature of the threat to democracy. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFeel free to wear scrubs or a white lab coat! Have a stethoscope? Drape that around your neck. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP for Updates\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Indivisible and coalition partner events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
