SUMMARY:Mansfield Juneteenth
DESCRIPTION:Please join the Mansfield Dems for our 5th Mansfield Juneteenth and our 2nd flag raising! We will gather on the South Common and listen to Rev Cheryl Harris deliver her Keynote address. Rev Myra Kinds returns for the third time to read a poem\, and the Grace Notes\, a community all-women chorus based in Mansfield\, will perform. Elected officials invited to speak include Governor Councilor Tamisha Civil\, State Sen Paul Feeney\, and Rep Ted Philips. The hour long event will begin at 4 pm on Friday\, June 19th\, and will take place on the South Common\, 6 Park Row in Mansfield. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRSVP for Updates\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
