SUMMARY:Signs of Fascism - "Our Grandparents Fought Fascism\, Will You?
DESCRIPTION:This a local Indivisible event! Hosted by Neponset Valley Progressives \n\n\n\nJoin us on Veteran’s Day\, Tuesday 11/11\,1-2pm\, in Westwood center. Meeting at the intersection of High st and Gay st. We will hold signs in a silent vigil that honors veterans who fought to defeat fascism – and we will warn of the signs of fascism we see rising in the US today. \n\n\n\n\nSign up here\n\n\n\n\nWe need at least 20 people to hold large signs – we will give you the signs. More participants welcome – American flags encouraged. People who want to hold signs are encouraged to wear black or dark colors. \n\n\n\nA core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
