On April 9, the legislature’s Advanced IT Committee held a public hearing on a variety of data privacy bills, including H.86, commonly known as the Location Shield Act.
The Location Shield Act, which would ban the sale of cellphone location information, was one of the priority bills that MA Indivisibles asked legislators to support at our State House Lobby Day last year.
This is one bill that we could enact NOW to protect Massachusetts residents.
