July 18, 2025 Last week, Trump’s loyalists in the Department of Justice (DOJ) quietly closed their review of the Jeffrey Epstein case. No client list. No charges. No further investigation.
After years of stoking conspiracy theories and promising to expose corrupt elites, Trump’s inner circle now looks to all the country like corrupt elites themselves (an overdue recognition, to be sure). Trump in particular — a longtime friend of Epstein’s — is looking mighty suspicious.
This week, Congressional Republicans further enabled the cover-up by blocking the release of the files.
And suddenly, in a way we’ve never seen before, MAGA-world is in revolt.
Far-right influencers are calling out Trump for letting Pam Bondi bury the story. Crowds at CPAC are booing the administration’s excuses. Polling shows the vast majority of Americans — including independents and even Republicans — disapprove of Trump’s handling of the case. And Trump is only making things worse by cursing out his own supporters for continuing to ask questions.
This is a unique moment when we have the chance to drive a wedge deep into the MAGA movement, simply by doing what’s right — calling attention to these heinous crimes and demanding full transparency. So that’s what we’re going to do.
In the next few days, we’re going to put up billboards in a number of Republican congressional districts — some swing districts, some deep red — calling out congressional Republicans AND Trump for covering up the Epstein files.
