Come write cards and spend time chatting with your fellow democracy warriors!
We’ve been asked to write postcards to voters in Virginia. This project has 2 purposes:
- Contribute to democratic victory in the Virginia fall election for governor and state legislature. It’s the first chance for voters to respond to Trump 2.0. Everyone agrees we need a big win by Democrats to show that a focus on the economy, affordability, and democracy will be a winning strategy nationally in 2026.
- Test the effectiveness of using political cartoons as a way to engage swing voters. In this case the cards will be sent to voters around Norfolk, home to a lot of military families, and the image and message relate to cuts in veterans services.
