Springfield Climate Justice Coalition is calling on people across the state to join with us online as we send a powerful message to the Healey administration, elected officials, and Eversource Gas.
Eversource Gas is holding an Open House and Listening Session at UMass Center at Tower Square in Springfield on August 7th at 6pm to take a concrete step towards building a toxic, dangerous, unnecessary, and expensive pipeline expansion project.
We will gather on zoom at 5pm to learn about the expansion project and watch a dynamic rally in Springfield highlighting issues with the project.
Now is the time to rise up and take power back from energy corporations who profit while poisoning our communities, polluting our air, and pocketing more of our hard-earned money. Our future lies in a rapid and just transition to clean electric heat and cooling powered by clean, renewable energy. Learn about this project and why pipelines like this are unnecessary, expensive, and harmful for the communities they target, and what you can do about it.
Jesse also will provide an overview of President Trump’s harmful executive order on homelessness issued on July 24th. The National Homelessness Law Center’s official statement on the executive order can be found here.
What comes after calling your state rep and state senator? Getting others to do so as well.

Tyngsboro Indivisible will be out at the bridge in the town center again (as we are every other Saturday) from 11-1 on Saturday 8/9. There is no suggested theme this week, but this administration gives us sooo much to work with. Bring a sign, or we will have extras. Hope to see you there to help us continue to let it be known that we will not be silent with all that is happening!
