Democracy runs on the open exchange of ideas, but it’s not always easy. We can’t change minds overnight, but with the right tools we CAN build greater understanding, and earn the respect of people with a range of political views.
Come and share your personal experiences on what works and what doesn’t and get some expert advice.
We’re thrilled to host Alix Smullin, one of the founders of Swing Left North Shore/Cape Ann who has extensive experience with voter outreach.
Alix has been talking politics for many years, both professionally and as a volunteer. She’ll show us how it’s done, with concrete examples and suggestions for having better conversations. She will also fill us in on Swing Blue’s Ground Truth program, which is using some of these techniques to improve political outcomes.
