Embrace Honors Harry Hom Dow

May 21 @ 5:00 pm 6:30 pm EDT

Harry Hom Dow didn’t just break a barrier, he opened a door that has never closed. The first Chinese American admitted to the Massachusetts Bar, he used the law as a tool for justice, advocating for communities the system was built to exclude. Today, his legacy lives on beneath The Embrace, where he is honored as one of the 69 Freedom Plaza Heroes.

Now we carry it forward.

Join us for Embrace’s celebration of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander civic leadership, a gathering rooted in community, honoring the trailblazers who continue his work.

The official program begins at 5:10 PM and will feature remarks from civic leaders and elected officials, a community panel, honoree recognition, live performances, and food.
