Indivisible Easthampton Action Gathering

It’s been a year since Indivisible Easthampton was started! We’re excited about what we’ve accomplished together – contacting our legislators about important issues, protesting the ICE facility in Burlington and at Home Depot in Hadley, bringing attention to Citizens Bank through the DE-ICE campaign, sending postcards to voters about elections in key states, supporting veterans and federal workers, and bringing the community together to protest unjust policies and actions by the current regime.
We know that we’re facing even more challenges as we get closer to the mid-term elections. We want to be ready as best we can.
Some of you took the time to complete our recent survey, and to share your ideas and concerns. Thank you! A core group of our members met recently to review and discuss the results, and to develop a focus for the year based on YOUR input.
Let’s meet to celebrate what we’ve done and to move forward with our focus for the coming year. We’ll break out into groups to learn, brainstorm, and plan for action. Together, we’ll appreciate each other, our impact, and the opportunities we face, with light refreshments, connection, and community.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
