Monthly Standout Against Authoritarianism

This a Indivisible Maynard Area event!
We meet the 3rd Saturday of every month by Veterans Memorial Park (at the corner of Summer St. and Nason St.) to stand up against authoritarianism. Between ICE’s cruelty, election gerrymandering, the Iran War, corruption and grifting by the WH, attacks on science and our democratic institutions, we have a lot to protest.
Signs welcome, but we usually do have some extra to offer. Let’s stand together as a community to fight for our democracy and our rights and give voice to those unable to speak.
A core principle behind all Indivisible and coalition partner events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
