Somerville 2026 Legislative Candidates Debates

The Somerville Democratic City Committee is hosting 3 debates for each of the open seat Democratic primaries: the 27th and 34th Middlesex House districts and 2nd Middlesex Senate district. Come hear from the candidates running to be the new legislators representing Somerville, Medford, Cambridge, and Winchester!
5:00 PM: 34th Middlesex State House Debate: Will Mbah, Chris Oates, and Paul Ruseau
6:00 PM: 2nd Middlesex State Senate Debate: Burhan Azeem, Christine Barber, Matthew McLaughlin, and Erika Uyterhoeven (Thomas Hopcroft has withdrawn from the race).
7:00 PM: 27th Middlesex State Rep Debate: Ben Ewen-Campen, and Olivia Gilligan-Corsetti
