Feeling helpless? Discouraged? Pessimistic? We have the antidote.
Just in time for the midterms, Sol y Canto will be sharing an uplifting evening of songs of protest, resistance and hope – in Spanish, English and of course, Spanglish.
Rosi and Brian Amador of Sol y Canto have been spreading messages of social justice and inclusivity since their years with Flor de Caña in the 1980’s. Never has their work been more relevant and necessary than now. In one of the darkest periods of our nation’s ongoing experiment in democracy, we need to come together, to protest, to organize, to resist, and also to hope. To remind ourselves of the power and beauty of the values we fight for.
Stand up! Resist! And bring out your joy. Come get fired up and ready to change the world. Is that too much to ask?
100% of the proceeds from this concert will go to the Boston Immigration Justice Accompaniment Network and Beyond Bond and Legal Defense Fund.
