Monthly Third Saturday Standout in Ashburnham. New theme every month! The Ashburnham Democratic Town Committee welcomes our neighbors from surrounding towns to join our residents who support democracy, the rule of law, voting rights, civil rights, and believes every person should have equal access to opportunities, autonomy, and inclusion. This event is a peaceful, non-confrontational event. Attendees are expected to respect people with opposing viewpoints by not engaging with them. Weapons are not permitted.
A core principle behind all Indivisible and coalition partner events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
