The first Saturday of every month we will meet at Groton Town Hall to bring attention to the latest atrocity of the administration. The rallies start at 10 am and go to noon.
This month we will need some volunteers to help with set up and break down. If you are available, please reach out.
This is a local Indivisible event!
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

Bring your signs and flags. You can expect some great speakers, joyful music, and community building activities.
We encourage you to take a stand with us this Labor Day weekend. This event is presented by “Do Something” Indivisible SouthCoast NE, MA 50501, Democracy Unleashed, Mujeres Victoriosas, the Westport Dems, AFL-CIO MA, and the Fairhaven Dems.
Working people built this nation and we know how to take care of each other. We won’t back down—we will never stop fighting for our families and the rights and freedoms that ensure access to opportunity and a better life for all Americans. The billionaire’s time is up.
Together we will demand a world that works for all of us.
We are writing to you with an invitation to pray with your feet and march with us from Lexington to Boston this Labor Day to sound the alarm for American democracy and to demand a more just and humane democracy that honors our shared sacred values.
On Friday, May 30th, hundreds of us marched this same route from Lexington to Boston, reversing Paul Revere’s ride for liberty 250 years ago to sound the alarm for democracy, as the actions of our current presidential administration regularly violate our shared sacred values and our constitutional rights.
Can I use my clothing, signage, and speech to protest other offenses at this event?
While we respect the conscience, speech, and liberty of all our clergy and other participants, at this event we are focused on the preservation of our shared sacred values and democratic, constitutional governance. In our prayers and signage, we ask that participants not mention any other issues, however important they are to one’s conscience or community.
Massachusetts is facing a great threat. The threat? Massive cuts to healthcare, food assistance programs, and education (to fund Trump’s tax cuts for billionaires and big corporations). Our solution? We can protect our care with Mass. Corporate Fair Share and the use of state reserves. The next step in our advocacy is a series of regional town halls (Protect Our Care Town Hall: Stop the Cuts w/ Corporate Fair Share) coming to a region near you this fall! Want to know more about how to talk about the upcoming budget cuts, Mass. Corporate Fair Share, and reserves before then? Join us for a messaging briefing hosted by Raise Up Massachusetts on Thursday, August 21st @ 5:30PM to learn more!
Our featured speaker is Bryan Winter from Mass 50501. Bryan C. Winter is a Veteran of the US Army, having retired in 2003 after participation in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is now a speaker and the Lead Ambassador for Mass 50501, a non-violent, non-partisan, anti-authoritarian movement made up of ordinary citizens. He will speak about the importance of building networks of mutual aid and information-sharing across the broader movement as a strategy for coalition building. We will need the largest possible tent to hold the administration accountable for its crimes, and it is vital that we establish those relationships across partisan, religious, ethnic, and political divides now.
Come to the Bridge Brigade this Friday, at the 93 overpass in Stoneham (Marble Street) to show your opposition to the Trump regime. Wave and hear the honks!

So many things are happening so fast, and it may feel exhausting, but we MUST continue to fight. Come join us and help us fight fascism! We have music, we have chalk, we have bubbles, and we have the attitude of a million angry lions…peaceful, angry lions. 🙂
-Please bring water and snacks for hydration and fuel. -The commons are public (I checked), so if you need to sit in the grass, under shade, you are welcome to. -Please no 8647 signs (it sends the wrong message) -NO NEGATIVE ENGAGING, this includes debating. Not worth the breath.
