Jews Say No More

We are at a point of no return. Israel’s blockade on Gaza has inflicted famine conditions on Palestinians, with hundreds dying by starvation, and thousands more on the brink of death. Our tradition teaches that whoever is able to protest the actions of their people, and does not, is responsible for those actions. We all must choose to act right now.

Starving the people of Gaza to death also means starving the remaining hostages to death, but Netanyahu and Trump don’t care about the hostages, they care about power.

On Thursday, August 14 at 5:30PM, we will gather for a mass Jewish rally calling for an end to Israel’s starvation and ethnic cleansing of Gaza. We object to our government’s continued support for this policy of starvation and refusal to leverage its immense power to compel the admission of humanitarian aid.

It’s time to speak out: Jews say no more starvation, no more ethnic cleansing.

The budget reconciliation bill increased I.C.E.’s power, making it the largest domestic law enforcement agency. I.C.E.’s overreach is causing fear, family separations, due process violations, inhuman detentions, and worsening community disruptions. These effects will intensify—especially in sanctuary cities—as plans are underway to add 10,000 new agents and expand detention facilities. But we demand limits on I.C.E. overreach and a balanced approach to public safety. Join us in showing Massachusetts stands for immigrant rights, defends due process, and rejects secret police tactics.
