We need to take back our state rep seat. Ken Sweezey, a freshman MAGA Republican, now represents portions of Duxbury, Halifax, Hanson, Marshfield, and Pembroke. The good troublemakers are getting together at the end of June to talk about how we can get a new rep.

Join Activist Evenings on Friday, June 26 on the Court Street sidewalk outside the FIFA Fan Fest at City Hall Plaza for No ICE in the Cup — a peaceful visibility event welcoming World Cup visitors and opposing federal immigration enforcement practices that betray international goodwill. We’ll supply signs and handouts about ICE activity in Massachusetts and practical ways people can take action. Please sign up for a one-hour shift between 1:30–5:30 PM (spots are limited). Bring a water bottle for the heat and a smile to greet our international guests.
By registering for this event, I commit to participating in a legal and peaceful manner, following the guidance of event organizers, and treating fellow participants, bystanders, and law enforcement with respect. I understand that this is a nonviolent action and agree to conduct myself accordingly.

Come make signs for the visibility action later in the week. You don’t have to come to City Hall to make a statement. We’ll provide all the materials and you’ll make signs that convey the message that we welcome fans and players from all over the world.
No ICE in the Cup is a national call to action demanding the World Cup remain joyful, safe and secure for all to enjoy. This means that the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has no place near the World Cup festivities. We want ICE out of stadiums, out of watch parties, out of local businesses, and off the streets where people will gather to celebrate the game they love.
The World Cup is coming to the United States. It should be a moment of joy and community around the beautiful game of soccer. But for many communities, especially immigrants, the presence of ICE threatens to turn that celebration into a moment of cruelty and fear.
Soccer belongs to the world. Our communities and international visitors deserve to experience it without the threat of government violence or intimidation.

We’ll be here all summer, come and write, or pick up to take home!
Please note we will take a break in July and August! Indivisible Westford and Indivisible Acton Area are teaming up to host a postcard party every Saturday morning! (Except July 4th). Join us to write, get coffee and a snack, or grab and go to do at home!

We will be hosting our monthly meeting June 20 at TCPL Community meeting room on the ground floor. For PRIDE month, we’ll be focusing on LGBTQ+ advocacy and support. Our guest speaker is from Quincy PFLAG, an organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them. We’ll also be preparing for our presence at Quincy Pride on Saturday June 27, including a craft project and post carding opportunities. There will also be time after the end of the meeting for fellowship and further discussion.

Join Indivisible as we make calls into Colorado to get voters ready for the upcoming primary election on June 30th and share why we’re supporting Julie Gonzales for Senate! We’ll be telling voters all about this exciting candidate and why they should be voting to send Julie to represent them in DC. Help make calls to voters in Colorado, and let’s send a real fighter for families and a defender of democracy to the Senate!
A short phonebanking training will be included at the beginning of each phonebank, so both first-time dialers and phonebank pros are welcome to join. Be sure to have both a computer and a phone so that you can make calls to voters.

Come join us as we look to create a new sign or maybe brush up one of your old ones! You can create a sign all your own to hold it at rallies, or create a protest umbrella to do the same! They are lots of fun to both hold and create and ours light up! Batteries included! Lots of fun, and a great way to gather in community, and to create messaging in a unique and artistic way.
You are welcome to create a sign to take with you, or a protest umbrella – the choice is yours. No experience necessary, all we need is you! This is a no-cost workshop, donations are gratefully accepted but certainly not mandatory.
This is a two-part Workshop – come join us next week if you do not complete your action, or take it on home with you to complete at home. Bring your own umbrella or use one that we can provide . Art supplies also provided but please bring anything that you wish. The choice is literally yours. Come on down!

As movements work to build lasting power, inclusive leadership and strategic solidarity are essential. Join us for Leading with Inclusion: Solidarity Across LGBTQ+ Communities, a conversation that celebrates the history, resilience, and leadership of LGBTQ+ people while exploring how we can strengthen movements through accountable allyship and inclusive practices.
This session will examine the challenges LGBTQ+ communities continue to face, particularly at the intersections of race, class, gender identity, and sexual orientation. Together, we will explore how systems of oppression impact LGBTQ+ people and learn practical strategies for creating more welcoming, affirming, and effective movement spaces.
Our featured speaker, Katie Blair, serves as Vice President of Advocacy at PFLAG National, where she leads national campaigns and legislative advocacy on issues including healthcare access, parental rights, school censorship, conversion therapy, and civil rights protections for LGBTQ+ people.
Join us for a powerful conversation exploring what it means to build movements rooted in belonging, courage, and solidarity.
