January 19 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm EST

The good troublemakers of Southeastern Massachusetts are hosting a series of rallies to celebrate the life and time of Martin Luther King. Join the troublemakers of Duxbury for a rally at lunchtime on Monday, January 19th, from 12 to 1:00 at Charlotte Bradford Memorial Square across from the American Legion in Duxbury at the only traffic light in town. As always, good Troublemaker events are family-friendly, so keep your signs rated G and make them positive. If you don’t have a sign, not a problem; we do have some available.

Bridge Brigade Visibility

January 15 @ 8:30 am 10:00 am EST

Bridge Brigade Visibilities have become a part of the on-going resistance to the fascist Trump regime. Swing Left JP has been hosting bridge visibilities since last spring twice a week. We strive for positive, inclusive messages that ask people to join the resistance or dream of a saner healthier society, though we often can’t escape simply venting our frustration with the evil of the regime.

Come join us – it’s fun, effective, and easy – just show up!

Ice Out for Good: Nationwide Vigils

January 10 January 11 EST

Wednesday, Renee Good, an American citizen, was shot in the face by ICE while attempting to back up her vehicle. Her killing is part of a broader pattern of unchecked violence, impunity, and abuse carried out by federal immigration enforcement agencies against members of our communities.

A broad coalition of groups across the country is calling for a coordinated Ice Out For Good Weekend of Action on Saturday, January 10th and Sunday, January 11th to demand accountability, honor the life lost, and make visible the human cost of ICE’s actions.

Check back for updates. New events are being posted rapidly. You can also check Mobilize for more events near you.
