Good Trouble Film Series – Lightworkers

August 20 @ 5:00 pm 8:00 pm EDT

Join us for a free screening of the documentary film, Lightworkers, followed by a panel discussion about activism in 2026 as we head toward the midterm elections.

Written and directed by veteran filmmaker Bobby Roth, this 2026 film asks a diverse group of Americans, “What can we do?” in the face of our democracy’s takeover by a powerful and aggressive few and a growing sense of division and powerlessness. Lightworkers weaves together individuals’ stories through themes of civic engagement, social responsibility and individual agency to create a portrait of individual power and community — and a sense of hope that, together, we can do anything.

Doors open at 5:00 pm. Screening begins promptly at 5:20pm. Following the screening will be a live discussion with Bobby Roth joining virtually, while joining in-person will be Peyton Fleming of the De-ICE Citizens Bank Coalition, and Rebecca Riccio of the Boston Trainers Collective.

As part of our Good Trouble Film Series, don’t miss our screening of Democracy Under Siege on September 10th.

A core principle behind all Indivisible and coalition partner events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
