Join Indivisible Hingham Hull and neighbors from across our community to stand up and protect our democracy. Right now, it needs all of us to be loud, visible, and united.
Bring your voice, your signs, your friends, and your family. This is what democracy looks like.
Everyone’s welcome—see you there!
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
The Location Shield Act (H.86/S.197), aimed at banning the sale of cellphone location data to protect individuals seeking sensitive services, was folded into a broader data privacy bill. Governor Healey signed the law on Aug 7, 2025.

Join us in the streets on Saturday August 9 at 1 pm Worcester City Hall. Bring Pots and Pans and other Noise Makers. We demand aid be let into Gaza now and that the siege on the Strip be lifted immediately. We reject the Israeli occupation of Gaza: We will not let Gaza stand alone – in Worcester and cities around the world, we are rising up for Palestine and for a world without Zionism and imperialism.
Gaza is being starved to death and bombed by Israel while US politicians continue to fund genocide with our tax dollars. Just today, Israel announced its intention to fully occupy Gaza, a brazen violation of international law, done with the green light of the Trump administration. Israel, with the full support of the US, is intent on nothing short of the annihilating 2 million Palestinians. We will not allow this depraved reality to continue. All who are complicit in this genocide will be held accountable.
We want to make sure everyone’s voice is heard. Organizations who wish to table or speak at Saturday’s event should contact Mysti Green (click to email).
You will have friendly company: we’re scheduling at least 3 volunteers for each one-hour shift. Please wear a bright-colored shirt: You will stand out to the people below and they will be much more likely to see you waving to them! Please be prompt for the start of your shift. Banners and flags for the standout will be set up on the overpass, and we don’t want to leave them unattended, for even a short time. You’re welcome to bring your own signs but they aren’t necessary. (Hand-held signs aren’t visible enough to be seen by the people below but they are visible to the people traveling on the Overpass.) Please email Indivisibleinn@gmail.com with any questions.

The next big march is almost here as we join unions and workerss for a Labor Day march. We’ll spend an evening making signs together. We’ll have some supplies, you can bring them if you have them but mostly bring your ideas and energy!
If you’re not able to join an overpass standout, please share this message in other ways: in your home or car windows, on your lawn, on sidewalks, on flyers in store windows or bulletin boards – anywhere that you have permission to display it or where we have 1st Amendment rights.
The goal is for this empowering message to go beyond August 15th and become a mantra of hope and determination that we can hold onto and share with each other in even our darkest moments.
We are gathering on Friday, August 15th from 3-4:30 at three overpasses on Route 6 with messages to advance our pro-democracy causes to travelers passing by. The message theme for 8/15 is “Be Brave”. As always, these are a peaceful events where we will stand in public spaces.
Harwich, Freeman’s Way Overpass between exits 85 and 89 (park at lay-by near overpass)
Wellfleet, Long Pond Road Overpass (park at lay-by near Lawrence Rd)

Look forward to seeing you there! We will have letters to hold which complete a unified message with other overpass locations. You are welcome to bring your own signs to hold but please make sure they have large printing!
Join with Brookline PAX and the broader Brookline community to stand up and stand out for our founding document at this time when it is in mortal peril.
Make your feelings known.
Bring yourself. Bring signs. Bring friends and family. All are welcome.

🎉 Be Part of History and Join Boston’s First Labor Day Parade! 🚶♀️✊ The Greater Boston Labor Council is making history with Boston’s first-ever Labor Day Parade! YOU’RE invited to march with us! 💥
This isn’t just a parade; it’s a statement, a celebration, and a call to action. The labor and activist coalition behind the parade has put together an inspiring lineup of participants:
Mayor Michelle Wu and Governor Maura Healey will speak alongside union leaders and rank-and-file members
Many other elected officials will show their support by marching in the parade, including Attorney General Andrea Campbell, Senator Ed Markey, Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley, and many State Reps, Senators, and City Councilors from all over the state
You can’t have a good parade without marching bands – we’ll have Good Trouble Brass Band, Musicians Marching Band, BABAM Marching Band, and Northeastern University Pep Band
Other marching contingents will include biker clubs, the Tin Men from the Sheet Metal Workers Union, a beautiful, classic red ‘65 Chevy pickup made by UAW workers, and much much more!
When the parade arrives at City Hall Plaza, Terca Club will bring their spirited blend of Latin, Brazilian rhythms, American funk, and intergalactic psychedelic synths.
We’ll follow a powerful route that honors the victories of the past, energizes the movement we’re building today, and reminds everyone that it’s better in a union.
We’ll meet in front of the State House, at the corner of Beacon and Park Streets, for opening remarks and performances. At 10:30 we’ll head to City Hall Plaza via School, Washington, and Congress Streets, past several key landmarks from the struggle for Labor rights. And we’ll conclude at City Hall Plaza with more music and speeches.
