Mystic Mashup Indivisible is hosting this training for Medford and other area businesses owners focused on understanding 4th amendment rights, particularly as they relate to ICE activity in our local area.
It aims to help business owners understand how they can best protect themselves, their customers, and their employees in the context of ICE activity. The training will be led by Elaine Almquist.

Sign-up to join our ballot cure phonebanks! There are thousands of Virginias who could have their mail-in ballot rejected because of mistakes like a missing signature. If they are able to fix or “cure” their ballot before November 7th – their vote will still count! We will be contacting these voters to help walk them through the process and ensure their voices are heard!

The community is invited to explore the power of allyship and respect for all at a free screening of Shared Legacies, a moving documentary about important historical lessons of the Black Jewish Alliance during the Civil Rights Movement. A facilitated discussion will follow the film. The film is for adults and teens.

This weekend, a bunch of good troublemakers will host voter outreach effort in Weymouth for the Tuesday, November 4th election. The goal is to remind our progressive neighbors to vote on November 4th. Voter turnout for municipal elections is low, with progressives tending not to participate in elections at this level.
The troublemakers are looking for volunteers to help with the outreach program this weekend in the form of leaving reminder pamphlets on voters’ doors.
Join us for a Freedom Vigil as we stand in solidarity with immigrant families and demand an end to the detention and deportation of nonviolent, law-abiding community members.
Across the country, people are gathering outside ICE facilities, local jails, courthouses, and other centers of power to shine a light on the erosion of due process and the rise of authoritarian overreach. Together, we affirm that justice, compassion, and the rule of law must apply to everyone—regardless of immigration status.
This moment matters because the government’s attacks on immigrants are not only tearing families apart—they are setting dangerous precedents that threaten the constitutional rights of all Americans. When due process is denied to one group, the foundation of democracy itself is weakened. By coming together in public, peaceful resistance, we send a clear message: our communities believe in fairness, dignity, and accountability.
This will be a peaceful, family-friendly event featuring community speakers, moments of reflection, and opportunities to take action. Please bring candles, signs, flags and your commitment to stand with those whose rights and dignity are under threat.
