Massachusetts is facing an unprecedented threat from the federal administration which is committed to the mass detention and deportation of immigrants, and a federal administration that is actively stripping away existing rights and privileges. The Commonwealth must urgently intervene to prevent the deportation of immigrants who live, work and pay taxes in Massachusetts.
Join us on Wednesday, October 22 at 11:30 AM on the State House steps for a rally in support of our communities to urge Massachusetts elected officials to pass meaningful legislation that protects immigrant communities from inhumane and violent immigration enforcement.
Join us after our rally to meet with our elected officials and advocate in support of legislation that will help protect Massachusetts immigrants from inhumane and violent immigration enforcement.

Protecting Massachusetts Communities Coalition
P.S: Please bring handmade signs in support of immigrants with you if you have some!
No Kings will be massive, powerful, and meaningful – but it won’t be the end of our work. Join movement leaders and fellow local activists after the big day to come together, celebrate what we accomplished, and learn about what’s next.
Join us as we draw attention to the invasive cruelty of ICE’s ISAP program. The Intensive Supervision Appearance Program (ISAP) utilizes private contractors to surveil and monitor undocumented neighbors via biometric scans and ankle monitors.
Park at Life Time Fitness. Protest on public sidewalk facing the intersection at 10 Speen St. Signs welcome.
On the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party (December 16, 1773), we will be meeting on the Congress Street Bridge near the Boston Tea Party Museum to dump ice cubes into the Fort Point Channel in bulk. You can either buy bags of ice or make your own at home and bring them with you in a container. The goal is make as big of a splash as possible with the most easily accessible ingredients that everyone can bring. We will be protesting the actions of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.) by dumping ice cubes into the same harbor that tea was dumped over 250 years ago. This will be a peaceful act of non-violence.
This will be a mostly symbolic event. As such, the more people who participate the better so share this link with as many people as possible (ideally 342 to represent the original crates of tea but we might not get that many signups). Ice cubes can be easily found and made at home so there’s no excuse not to bring any (if you want to participate then you will have to bring more than one tray of ice cubes from your freezer). Everyone should have a container of some kind at home that they can bring: igloo coolers, small trash cans, Gatorade buckets, plastic grocery bags, etc. Again, we want to make a big splash so there’s more people who participate the better. If you want to get creative and freeze food dye or overpriced tea/juice from the grocery store then that’s fine but just make sure that it is biodegradable (no chemicals or popsicle sticks).
