Indivisible National is launching a massive effort to train one million people in the strategic logic and practice of noncooperation, as well as the basics of community organizing and campaign design.
The first training was held on Wednesday, July 16, and broke Zoom with 150,000 people in attendance. You can review the recording here. And view the slides here.

Presenters emphasized that when the pillars propping up the wannabe king (for example, corporations, labor unions, faith-based institutions, educational institutions, civil servants, military/police) are no longer incentivized to capitulate, power shifts. Effective noncooperation on a large scale causes pillars of support to defect, or at least no longer reliably support the autocrat’s aims.
Presenters will go deeper into noncooperation tactics in upcoming calls scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, and Wednesday, August 13. Register here.

In late June, the MA House and Senate passed new Joint Rules for the first time in six years.
That may sound wonky or arcane, but the rules govern who gets to participate in the legislative process and when and how. And because of activists like you, we were able to win real pro-transparency, pro-participation reforms.
But what do these new rules mean? How can we ensure that they lead to the progressive policies we want? And what other reforms are necessary?
Join Act on Mass, Progressive Dems of Mass, Progressive Mass, Mass Sierra Club, and 350 Mass for an update.

Calling all concerned citizens. Stand with us against the pervasive corruption within the Trump administration. From self-enrichment and conflicts of interest to the weakening of ethics regulations and the undermining of accountability, the integrity of our government is at stake.
Join us in peaceful protest to demand transparency, uphold the rule of law, and fight for a government that truly serves the people, not the elite. Your presence is crucial in this fight for a more just and honest democracy.

This a local Indivisible event!
Please join Greater Assabet Indivisible Network (GAIN) each Wednesday from 5:30 – 6:30pm in front of the OLD Northborough Town Hall, to the right of CVS, in Northborough, MA. Meet our group as we hold our signs, create community, listen to great music, educate the public, and create good trouble. This is a fun-filled event and a busy location with great visibility. (Please do not park at CVS, but instead at the lot at Sawyer’s Bowladrome, next to the standout.)

On July 18, over 1600 protests were held nationwide to honor the 5th anniversary of John Lewis’ passing. They ranged from large protests in New York city to standouts held in smaller towns – many of them in red and rural areas. It is amazing that so many people turned out on a hot Thursday night. This is important. Protests against the Trump regime are now normal, dare I say expected, which should help attract more and more people to the movement.
Are we done? No, of course not. In Heather Cox Richardson’s July 17 Letters from an American, she told the amazing story of John Lewis, an ordinary person, called to DO SOMETHING TO RIGHT A WRONG.
Before Representative Lewis died, reporter Jonathan Capehart asked him “what he would say to people who feel as though they have already been giving it their all but nothing seems to change.” Lewis answered: “You must be able and prepared to give until you cannot give any more. We must use our time and our space on this little planet that we call Earth to make a lasting contribution, to leave it a little better than we found it, and now that need is greater than ever before.”
“Do not get lost in a sea of despair,” Lewis tweeted almost exactly a year before his death. “Do not become bitter or hostile. Be hopeful, be optimistic. Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble. We will find a way to make a way out of no way.”
“My philosophy is very simple,” Representative Lewis once told an audience. “When you see something that is not right, not fair, not just, say something! Do something! Get in trouble, good trouble, necessary trouble.”
What is your next step? Will you attend a One Million Rising Training? Protest ICE? Organize an event?
Together we will prevail!
July 24, 2025 @ 10:30 am – 11:30 am EDT
Join us for our Daytime Summer Action Hours in Lexington Center. These summer gatherings will be a chance to share what’s on your mind with other Indivisible LAB members and discuss the new guidance from Indivisible National’s “One Million Rising” sessions on fighting authoritarianism. Bring your ideas for actions and suggestions for future meetings. We’ll also have postcard packets, materials for making signs, and a “tech help” station.
*Please note that we’re now meeting on Thursday mornings since many members attend the Wednesday 11am -1pm ICE protest in Burlington.
