Virtual Event

The 2026 midterms are shaping up to be a doozie. Republicans are trying to gerrymander their way out of a massive midterm loss. Virginia Dems are fighting back with a redistricting plan that could swing 4 congressional seats to Dems – but it needs to be passed by referendum on April 21st.

Are you ready to help them do it?

Agenda for 2/28/2026 Frontline Update:

  • Michelle Moore, Bridge2Blue (formerly SBA Virginia) presents the strategy for getting Dems out for the special election.
  • Finale Norton, Friday Power Lunch, interviews Virginia SBA partners
  • Mona Zeftel, introduces SBA’s Pennsylvania Ground Truth phone bank and canvassing strategy to win the midterms.

Stick around afterwards to get all your questions answered!

Common Start Advocacy Day

March 5 @ 11:00 am 1:00 pm EST

Please join Common Start at the Massachusetts State House on March 5th to advocate directly to House Representatives about the House FY27 budget proposal, and to ensure that the Common Start priorities are reflected in the FY27 budget proposal that gets released in April.

Important events like this allow us to talk in-person with legislators and legislative staff about our FY27 budget priorities, including increasing the number of families receiving child care financial assistance, growing funding for the C3 operational grant program to support additional child care providers, moving Massachusetts further toward child care reimbursement rates that cover the true cost of delivering high-quality care, and delivering much-needed funding for Head Start providers.

If you are new to advocacy days or advocating directly at the State House – no worries! We will have materials and training provided for everyone who joins, and this is a great opportunity to learn first-hand how everyone in the Commonwealth can advocate for Common Start priorities to their legislators.

Common Start Advocacy Day
Time: Thursday, March 5, at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Location: State House Cafe, 4th floor of the Massachusetts State House (24 Beacon St, Boston, MA 02133)

Jews Against Ice

Virtual Event

February 19 @ 7:30 pm 8:30 pm EST

On February 11th, over 100 rabbis and cantors will make history as the largest group of Jewish clergy to protest ICE in Washington DC. The same day, Jewish leaders across the country will also protest corporations that help ICE carry out its immoral detention and deportations.

The Jewish movement against ICE is growing, but it’ll take every one of us to knock down the pillars that enable ICE’s cruelty. This includes private corporations like Signature Aviation, which helps coordinate fuel and logistics for deportation flights.

Join the call on Thursday, February 19th to:

  • Hear from Jewish leaders who protested in Washington DC outside of ICE headquarters
  • Explore concrete ways you can join us to fight ICE and the corporations who enable them
  • Get inspired by the Jewish movement for immigrant justice and how our futures are intertwined

This event is co-sponsored by Bend the Arc, T’ruah, Jewish Community Action (JCA), and the Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action (JALSA)
